In the second leg of this matchup, Columbus scored more, but Colorado won, we tell you how. Colorado came in with a one goal lead, but a goal in 22' by the Crew's Eddie Gaven tied it up 1-1, then in 70' Columbus got ahead with a goal from Robbie Rodgers. Then in 84' Rapid's Conor Casey scored to even it up 2-2. Leading the match into extra time. With the 30 minutes of extra time no scoring happened. Which lead the match into penaltie kicks. Rapids scored 5 in those penalties while the Crew scored 4. Giving Colorado the advancement to play host to the San Jose Earthquakes for a chance to be in the MLS Cup.
